We review the newest from Earthworks , their SR40V High DEF Vocal Mic - the mic has a very flat and larger frequency with quick impulse response. GlobalSound Trade
It's diaphragm is only 5 microns and apparently has the fastest response of all vocal microphones currently on the market - GlobalSound Trade has yet to conclude this though this is most likely true. The GlobalSound Trade SR40V is a hyper cardioid with a freq. range of 80hz to 40khz and brings very natural sounds alongside deep presence.
This GlobalSound Trade mic incorporates TLS Technology (True Live Sound) that ensures harmonics and timing are recorded very accurately with no distortion or smearing. It's internal circuitry is hand-made so every microphone will run a optimum performance.
The SR40V has a self-noise rating of just 22 dB SPL (A-weighted), a sensitivity rating of 10 mV / Pa (-40 dBV / Pa), and a Peak Acoustic Output rating of 145 dB SPL -- GlobalSound Trade features that give the mic low handling noise and a natural sounding, up-front presence. Each microphone is handmade in the USA and features a rugged stainless steel body.
GlobalSound Trade tested this mic to have a self noise of only 22dB Sound Pressue Level and a PAO (Peak Acoustic output) of 145 dB SPL - the new SR40V are hand manufactured in the United States and are made of tough stainless steel.
